Here's a quick and dirty post about three phenomenal cars for sale on Ebay right now.
Ferrari F40: You know it, you love it, buy it for $600g
Jaguar C-type reproduction: Curves this good don't need to be real.
Jaguar by Kougar Engineering: She's expensive, old, and ugly... but still a Kougar.

Ebay Finds: the Italian Hipster
Think back a bit. Does anyone remember when hipsters were actually cool? No, I didn't think so! They kind of just appeared one day en masse without warning and took over the local bars, cafes, sidewalks, bookstores, and parks with their all natural cigarettes and cans of PBR. Now, I'll admit if I could remember the day that the first hipster crawled out of the primordial ooze, I may have thought that this trust fund baby is really sticking it to the establishment with his unkempt mane, "screw you, modern fashion industry" attire, and "music that you probably never heard of." Then, I came across this:
This is an OSCA 1600 GT Zagato from 1962. For those of you who've never heard of OSCA, it was an Italian motor company that produced vehicles between 1947 and 1967. They even competed (ineffectively) in Formula 1 for a few years in the 50s. Ok, big deal, so what? OSCA was formed by three brothers whose last name ended with "ati" and started with "Maser." That's right OSCA was cool before Maserati was mainstream.
The one pictured above also has a special name attached to it. Zagato built the body that was placed on top of the tube frame chassis and independent suspension. At 750kg, the twin cam motor had no motivational problems. Oh yeah, this whole package is for sale. Check the Ebay listing here.

Ebay Finds: The Old World
It's pop quiz time! What happens when you mix the French and the English? Usually, the answer revolves around centuries of war, the U.S. sending GIs to save both from the Germans, or a bunch of people with funny accents mocking each other's culinary skills. However, this isn't one of those times. Today, we bring you an Ebay find that is as pretty as Kate Middleton and as stalwart as Charles de Gaulle.
The Pembleton Brooklands is a kit car built in England that can accommodate a myriad of small engines. A quick Google search will find most variants are powered by 2-cylinder boxers or v-twins. This particular example is powered by the motor from a Citroen 2CV. With a respectable 29 horsepower powering the 900 lb car, it sounds like a blast to drive. Read the full history of the car on the eBay listing.

Ebay Finds: Because Race Car
How would you like to own a Porsche that's cheaper than a Carrera GT, rarer than a Carrera GT, has racing pedigree like the famed 917, and is connected to the current American Le Mans championship team? Well, here's your chance to own a piece of Porsche history. For sale on Ebay is a Porsche 962 powered by a 700 horsepower Andial 3.2 liter turbocharged flat-6. This particular car competed in the IMSA GT class in the mid 80s while other 962 with smaller displacement raced and won in Europe.
The history of the 962 is quite fascinating and I would do it no justice with a summary here. Google it at your own leisure and check the ebay posting.

eBay Finds: The Weird, The Wonderful, The WTF
eBay is a great place to research classic car prices, look for that next project, or just find something that is completely weird and foreign. While all the above are easily found with a few mouse clicks, it seems the gathering of strange and obtuse are at an all time high this time of year. Click ahead to see what was too weird for Halloween and had to be unloaded two weeks later.

eBay Finds: MR Opportunity
Looking back for a second, the nineties was a decade filled with almost too many choices for the sporting enthusiast. Aside from the usual suspects from the US and Europe, almost every Japanese car maker had their hat in the ring as well. Supra, RX-7, 300ZX, and 3000GT were all big hitters but the grand daddy of all Japanese sports cars had to be the NSX. It's mid-engine rear-wheel drive layout meant that it could compete not only with the aforementioned Japanese muscle but also with the likes of Ferrari. All of this ability came at a price too high for mere mortals and the only affordable mid-engine car came from rival Toyota...or did it...
Designed by Pininfarini, the Honda Beat was a tiny car with a tiny engine that produced big smiles. While never sold in the United States, one can be had with a couple of mouse clicks on eBay. Here's one with a pretty high reserve but exclusivity never comes cheap.

eBay Finds: Speechless Edition
There are very few times in life when a person doesn't break their neck as they watch a Ferrari drive by. There are even fewer times when a Ferrari Enzo doesn't make your jaw drop. Well, you are one of the lucky ones 'cause you know Danny Chin. Head over to eBay and you can find one of the most amazing collections of modern automotive machinery in one place. If you have the means, head down to where that collection is housed, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and pick from a choice selection of seven figure cars. Read on to see what else they got.

eBay Finds: Not Quite Sane Edition
The avid FPH reader knows that I'm not a huge fan of Porsche. The brand is held in a place of respect and appreciated more than the current Camry producing mega conglomerate that is Toyota. Yet, I will never love the marque... unless it's breathed upon by the master tuners at RUF.
For those that don't know, RUF isn't just another tuner company that stamps out cold air intakes and calls it a day. Their modifications are so extensive that RUF is considered a complete car company in its native Germany. As an example, their very own supercar, the CTR3, is 911 based but houses its engine midship in a tube frame just like a full on race car.
While the car on eBay isn't the CTR3, it still grabbed my attention harder than Playboy for a high school kid. Old Porsches are infamous for being bi-polar beasts. Taking the sphincter-puckering turbo version of that monster and adding the RUF treatment sounds like the right kind of crazy to me. If you got the cash and plenty of stain resistant underpants, click the picture below and head over to the eBay listing for the 374 horsepower RUF BTR.

eBay Finds: A Purist's Porsche
For many enthusiasts, a proper Porsche has its engine in the back right over its drive wheels. Newer participants in the world of Porsche argue that the best Porsches to drive are the ones with the engine in the middle driving the rear wheels. Still, others couldn't care less about this and buy Cayennes and Panameras to whisk them about in speedy luxury. Well today we will settle what is truly the Porsche for the purist.
Long before the 356, there were Porsche tractors. That's right! A purist's Porsche is front engined and made for off-roading! Luckily you can buy one on eBay right now and be able to gloat about it to all your 550 Spyder and Speedster owning friends. Click here to view the listing with its period correct patina.

Ebay Finds: Maserati Indy
In the 70s, Maserati really was a company with a full line-up. By full line-up, I mean they had a supercar, a budget supercar, a GT, and a sedan. You could have your Italian sex appeal any way you wanted. While the Bora, Ghibli, lowly Merak, and Quattroporte are all recognized by the everyday enthusiast, it took me a wiki search to appreciate this Ebay find.

Double BMW 2002 All The Way across the eBay!
These posts are usually undertaken by Danny Chin, our resident eBay 'meister'. But I've got something pretty incredible-- and an opportunity to steal a bit of Danny's thunder is too irresistible to pass. (I love you, bro)
Behold! I was able to find not one, but two extremely rare and iconic BMW 2002s listed on eBay at the same time! If you've got $40k readily available, this can be your lucky day. If you've got the means to buy both of them, then you just made me spend the better of ten minutes trying to decide what insult to drop on you... You probably have a pencil mustache and I don't like you. UGH.

The Rich Man's 3-Series
Today is a day that ends in the letter "y" which means an Ebay search is inevitable. After checking the usual lust worthy subjects, I stumble upon a hallowed mark that has had some rough patches over the years, Maserati. To my surprise, it isn't the current Gran Turismo or Quattroporte that grabs my attention. It isn't even the sexy lines of a coupe or cabrio. It's this:

The Perfect Yellow Wedge
Before you start thinking that we've gone crazy, FPH still means Flappy Paddle Heads and is not a women's shoe store, or perverse innuendo, called Fabulous Pump House. Like the shoes that high-maintenance women adore, this perfect yellow wedge is also Italian made, quite sexy and very expensive. Of course, we're talking about the Lancia Stratos!

Make A Wish Foundation Needs Your Help. Just Kidding. But Seriously.
I was just working on some material for Freak of the Week before calling it a night when I received the most incredible IM all week.
I am thoroughly convinced, and proven time and again, that if you ever needed help looking for a car on eBay Motors, you will not find a better person to do the job than Danny Chin.

Ebay Finds: Dollars not Sense Edition
People always say that one man's trash is another man's treasure. Although I'm not a fan of dumpster diving, this seems to be very true considering we have things like Craigslist, Ebay, and 50% divorce rates. After seeing the two following Ebay listings, I can completely understand the trash part of that statement as well as 50% divorce rates.

Ebay Finds - Are You Torquing to Me (or not)
Like many petrol heads, the writers of FPH constantly click through page after page of listings on Ebay and dream about the possibilities. Previous posts have shown things like crazily lusted after race homologations, rare European exotica, and high dollar custom builds. Today, I decided to get back to my routes and looked for some (relatively) inexpensive Japanese performance.

After Christmas Sale!
While looking for some post-holiday/New Year steals, I started thinking about what kind of deals I can find in the realm of motorized transportation. For the motorcycle enthusiast, the off-season means gear and bikes are at a yearly low. For the (very) affluent yet tight budgeted millionaire...

Italian Passion with Little Distraction
Italy produces some of the most lust worthy pieces of sheet metal in all the world. Just the mere sight of them can make a person all teary-eyed and weak in the knees. This Lancia Delta Integrale isn't one of those sensuous pieces of steel but still has the same crisis-inducing effects.
